In most people's oppinion I think Apple maps is not a very good app for navigating. However I'm curious about what you guys think about the accessibility features in it that allow you to track roads by sound cues. So here goes.

I want to know how the heck you get turn by turn directions so far not impressed with it.

I don't know if it's possible to get turn by turn directions with it and over all I don't think it's very impressive but I do like the "earcons" I think they're calling it where you can explore the map by dragging your finger. I think more development on that feature could make this app pretty cool.

I'm not thrilled with them either. I've heard blind squared is a better app especially for us but I have yet to get it. Soon as I do and play around with it I can say more though. Apple maps doesn't seem to be good with the combination of driving and voiceover. It keeps seeming as though we turn off the road we continue down on to some side streets. That has been my experience with it. It did work ok when I walked around with it though.
